The Nile River’s source is in Uganda, specifically in Jinja district, where it flows out of Lake Victoria. The Nile, the longest river in the world, starts from Lake Victoria, the largest freshwater lake in Africa, near Jinja town. This point is where the river waters separate from the lake waters, and a monument commemorates this location.

The Nile is approximately 6,650 Kilometers Long and flows through 11 countries, including Uganda, Egypt, Sudan, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo.
